On Monday, December 14, Heyam Alcodray was appointed to the position per the Board’s approval.

Alcodray is currently the Principal at McCollough/Unis School, and was formerly Principal of Henry Ford Early College. She was also a former Assistant Principal at Dearborn High School.      

The District said Alcodray was appointed to the position among a number of outstanding candidates.  fortunate to have had many outstanding candidates for the position.

A committee interviewed all of the candidates during a screening process.

Alcodray replaces former Principal Youssef Mosallam, who was appointed as Executive Director of Student Achievement earlier this fall.
