DEARBORN — Judge Adel Harb was officially sworn in to serve as a circuit court judge in a ceremony at Dearborn’s Civic Center on Monday.
Gov. Rick Snyder appointed Harb to the 3rd Circuit Court, Wayne County, in October of last year. The judge was a magistrate for Dearborn’s 19th District Court.
Harb, who has previously ran for judge in Dearborn, fills the vacancy created by the resignation of Judge Daniel Ryan. He must seek election in November 2016 for the remainder of the term and again in 2018 for a full term.
