The Optimist Club also recognized the members of the Dearborn Fire Department.
The Dearborn Optimist Club also honored 19th District Court Judge William Hultgren, who received the Lifetime Achievement Award; Dearborn Police Chief Ronald Haddad, who received a Meritorious Service Award and the ATA Junior Optimist Club, which received a Special Commendation.
Dearborn Police officers who receive awards are nominated by their peers and their supervisors and are selected by a police department committee and the chief. Chief Haddad and the entire department extend their gratitude and thanks to the Exchange Club of Dearborn and the Dearborn Optimist Club for their recognition.
“The value that the Exchange Club and the Optimist Club provide to the Dearborn community cannot be overstated,” Chief Haddad said. “As a police department we are grateful that they choose to honor the hard work and dedication of our officers.”
