IRAN – After going viral online last month, a monstrous weightlifter dubbed the “Iranian Hulk” has confirmed he will join Iranian forces fighting ISIS on the battlefield.
According to The Sun, larger-than-life Sajad Gharibi, 24, reportedly weighs a staggering 160 kilograms, with much of his bulk made up of muscle.
The volunteer soldier, himself an Iranian, told his roughly 127,000 Twitter followers he will now do his bit to wipe out ISIS.
Heavily-stacked Gharibi has become a cult figure on Instagram where he regularly posts about his weightlifting.
Enormous Gharibi can lift a staggering 180kg, which is surprisingly even more than what he weighs, and is a competitive powerlifter.
The weightlifter has also taken part in bodybuilding competitions across Iran.
Gharibi has quickly become an internet sensation after attracting a substantial social media following.
He writes in his mother tongue, but uses hashtags such as #strongman, #strongbody, #big #muscles, and #powerful on Twitter and Instagram.
