DEARBORN- A man has been arrested for allegedly pulling a gun on a group of children at the Springwells Apartments pool.

A group of kids had agitated the man when they were playing a game in the pool. The man was there chaperoning his young daughter. 

The boys, ages 10-16, said they were getting on the nerves of a man as they were playing with a ball in the pool.

They said he first threatened to call police. When they didn’t stop–he took the ball from them.

When some of the boys attempted to get the ball back from him, he surprised them by pulling out his gun. 

The boys took off and told their parent about the incident. Dearborn Police arrived to the scene and arrested the man. 

Parents also expressed concerns that the man could be a potential danger in the future. He lives in the same apartment complex as some of the boys who were swimming in the pool.
