DEARBORN — A 59-year-old Lincoln Park man died after being pinned between two trucks while at work at Fairlane Ford dealership in Dearborn.
A preliminary investigation revealed that the victim had been in the process of moving new vehicles as part of his daily duties, police said. At some point, the vehicle driven by the victim struck another vehicle that was unoccupied and parked in the same lot. The victim was discovered, by co-workers, partially outside of the vehicle he had been operating and pinned against the other parked vehicle.
Police are still uncertain whether the employee suffered from a medical condition or had been injured as a result of the collision.
The injured man was unresponsive and transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead. The victim’s name is not being released until the family is notified. The investigation is on-going.
