DETROIT – A Michigan State Police trooper was injured in a road rage incident while riding his motorcycle Friday morning.
Michigan State Trooper Ali Hammoud was on the way to the funeral of Detroit Police officer Sight. Ken Steil when a white male driver in a blue GMC pickup drove around another driver and “bare-checked” that driver, which caused a vehicle to sideswipe into Hammoud’s bike.

The driver stopped at the scene to assist Hammoud, but the driver of the blue GMC fled the scene.
