DEARBORN — The Police Department is still asking for the public’s assistance in obtaining information regarding the murder of Raymond Mshahwar, a 33 years-old Canton resident.
On Sunday October 16, 2016 at approximately 10:00pm, the Dearborn Police Department was dispatched to the area of Madison and Bennett on an accident where a vehicle crashed into several parked vehicles. Officers on scene determined the driver of the vehicle, Mshahwar, had been shot and sometime afterward crashed into the parked vehicles.
He was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. The Dearborn Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance with any information regarding

Crime Stoppers is also offering a $2500 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the subject(s) involved in this crime. Anyone providing information can remain anonymous.
“This is a tragic situation and our condolences go out the family of the victim,” Dearborn Police Chief Ron Haddad said. ” The Dearborn Police Department will use all available resources to apprehend the person(s) involved in this crime. We are urging the public to come forward with information regarding this crime.”
