DEARBORN — Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in an armed robbery at a 7-eleven store.
On November 14, at approximately 1:30 a.m. in the area of Telegraph and Oxford, a male approximately 25-30 years old, with what is described as a “scraggly sculpted beard”, entered the store. He was wearing a black flat brimmed baseball hat with a white Chicago Bulls emblem on front, a black hooded sweatshirt and black sweatpants.
After waiting for the other patrons to leave, he approached the clerk, demanded money and pointed a handgun at the cashier.
The suspect fled the store on foot after the robbery with an undisclosed amount of money. Preliminarily, the investigation revealed that this suspect may be involved in at least three other armed robberies in neighboring communities.
“The Dearborn Police Department will aggressively investigate this crime and utilize all available resources to bring this investigation to a conclusion,” Dearborn Police Chief Ron Haddad stated. “We are urging the public to come forward and provide information to help identify the suspect involved in this crime.”
