DEARBORN HEIGHTS – On Tuesday, a shirtless man walked into the Mexican Fiesta restaurant in Dearborn Heights, paced behind a bar, put knives between his fingers and started ordering customers to leave.

The 26-year-old man had first jumped into a tub of grease at the IHOP next door before making a scene at Mexican Fiesta.

He was covered in oil and demanded a beer at the bar, but he was told he couldn’t be served because he was shirtless. The man then jumped over the bar and paced back and forth.

He then armed himself with butter knives and began shouting at servers and customers to “get out.”

According to local 4, a customer called 911 to report the mayhem. When the 911 operator asked if the man still had knives in his hand, the caller said “Yep, and he’s just yelled. Now he’s throwing things behind the bar. He just told everybody to get out of the restaurant. He’s going crazy.”

No one was hurt.

When Dearborn Heights Police arrived on the scene, the man refused to obey their commands. They eventually had to taser him.

He was taken to a local hospital to be assessed for drug and mental health
