DETROIT — In June of 2014, 6-year-old Kaylah and 8-month-old Kristian disappeared the same time their mother, Alicia Fox, was found fatally shot in an abandoned Detroit home.

It’s been three years since their grandmother, Travae Fox, has seen them.

“Its a void,” Fox told WXYZ TV.

Alicia Fox’s estranged husband, Erin Justice, who’s also Kristian’s father, was sentenced to a minimum of 47 years in prison for killing her.

Detroit police said this case is an open investigation. Detective Shannon Jones believes Justice has the answer.

Jones said she’s sure someone has information about the children’s location.

“Step up and have some kind of compassion in your heart,” Fox said. “Search for the God in you. Don’t have fear and just tell. We want our family back together.”
