DEARBORN ― A bald man stole seven boxes of Rogaine from a pharmacy on Warren Avenue near Wyoming Avenue in Dearborn on June 22, according to a Dearborn Police press release.
Employees told officers that the suspect, a 30-40-year-old Black man, entered the store, placed seven boxes of the items in a shopping bag, and left in an older Chevrolet. Rogaine is a men’s hair growth product.
The suspect was last seen eastbound on Warren Avenue. Surveillance video showed the suspect was wearing blue jean shorts and a shirt that read “Air Force Dad.”
The Dearborn Police Department said it is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect responsible for this crime “as it is suspected he will continue committing this type of crime as 12-14 months of consistent use is needed to see results.”
“While this is not the most hair-raising crime, we must protect our retailers as these crimes drive up the retail costs for honest consumers,” Dearborn Police Chief Ronald Haddad stated.
