DEARBORN, MI. — In the early morning hours of February 20, 2018, Dearborn Police officers responded to the 7500 block of Greenfield in regards to a burglary alarm showing glass breakage. Upon arrival, officers observed the glass on the front door smashed out on the business. After the owner arrived, it was determined over $4000 in video games and game consoles were stolen. Video surveillance footage showed that 2 unknown black male suspects utilized a sledge hammer to break out the front door glass to gain entry. Once inside, suspect #1 began grabbing video games and game consoles off the shelves. Suspect #2 is seen entering a short time later and grabs a white PlayStation off the shelf behind the front counter and both suspects exit the store and flee in an unknown direction.
Suspect #1 is described as a black male, 18-25 years old wearing a black jacket, gray hoodie and black pants, 1 red and 1 black glove and carrying a black Nike duffle bag with a green strap. Suspect #2 is described as a black male, 18-25 years old wearing a blue jacket, black hoodie, dark colored jeans and gray gloves. The Dearborn Police is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying these suspects.
Dearborn Police Chief Ronald Haddad stated “The public’s assistance both locally and regionally is our greatest asset to combat crime. Anyone with information related to this crime is asked to call the Dearborn Police.”
