DEARBORN – Kavalhuna is currently the executive director ((duties akin to Associate Dean role), Western Michigan University, College of Aviation. The nation’s third‐largest collegiate aviation program, which operates at three locations in Michigan and Florida.

Kavalhuna worked from 2009 to 2015 as an Assistant United States Attorney (Federal Prosecutor), United States Department of Justice, in Grand Rapids, Michigan

He now resides with his wife Courtney and their two children in Grand Rapids.
