DEARBORN —Dearborn Residents will be permitted to take part in a free document shredding day on May 5 from 8 a.m.-noon.

The shredding will take place at the DPW Yard, 2951 Greenfield, south of Rotunda.

The event is only open to Dearborn residents and proof of residency is required. There is a limit per person of five office sized boxes of personal paper documents and a maximum weight of 50 pounds.

Documents are shredded onsite.
