DEARBORN — The Dearborn Recreation and Parks Department’s “Drivers” or “Putters” programs are offering golf opportunities for kids beginning June 18. Golf enthusiasts between the ages of 7 and 17 are invited to register for both programs.
The Drivers and Putters programs, offered at the Robert Herndon Dearborn Hills Golf Course on Tuesdays, features instructional clinics and several holes of play.
The Putters program, for children between the ages of 7 and 11, offers two four-week sessions that meet from June 18 to July 9 and from July 16 to August 6 from 9:30-11:30 a.m.
The cost is $75, which includes a $26 non-refundable greens fee.
The Divers program, for children ages 12 to 17, runs from June 18 to August 6 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. It concludes with a competitive tournament the final day.
The cost is $135, which includes a $40 non-refundable greens fee.
