DEARBORN – Dearborn Police Department say that at approximately 7:45 am on Friday, September 20, its officers responded to a secluded area near Paul Avenue and Southfield Freeway on report of an unresponsive female that had been located there.
On arrival, they discovered an injured 34-year-old female Taylor resident.
After responding officers and Detroit Fire Department immediately rendered aid to the woman, Detroit Fire Department pronounced the woman deceased at the scene.
The victim’s name is being withheld while her family is notified.
The police department is urging Detroit residents in the area of Paul Avenue and Southfield Freeway to check their security cameras for any suspicious activity between the hours of 4 am and 9:30 am on Friday.
According to police, the incident is still under investigation and therefore this information is subject to change. Additional details will be released as they become available.
