PARKER, TX — On Saturday, August 31, the Arab Cultural Society (AACS) is hosting the third annual Arab Texas Festival at Southfork Ranch.
The AACS is a nonprofit organization that serves to strengthen and support the Arab American interests in the United States. Moreover, the organization aims to promote a more positive cultural environment surrounding the Arab American community with goals to raise awareness and knowledge of Arab culture to the American public.
Because of the growing number of attendees, the event will be held in a bigger venue, which will include a kids zone, amusement-style rides, a petting zoo, pony rides, miniature train rides and many sport games and activities for all ages.
The event will be open to the entire community from 3 p.m. to 12 a.m. and will expect more than 10,000 guests from all over the U.S. and some from overseas.
It will consist of many top Arab Entertainment Acts including Hadi Aswad, and it will feature more than a half-dozen of the best Mediterranean food vendors in Dallas/Fort-Worth metroplex, various exhibitor’s tents, a cultural fashion show, various Arab cultural exhibits and Middle-Eastern cultural folk dances.
Local mayors, senators and state representatives are expected to attend the event.
Entry fee is $25, which includes unlimited amusement rides, entry to the entertainment stage to see all performances, exhibitor’s tents, cultural exhibits, and free parking.
