Detroit – The U.S. Marshals Service is offering $5,000 reward for information leading to the capture of fugitive murder suspect Mohamed Ali Saad.
The U.S. Marshals Service Detroit Fugitive Apprehension Team, in conjunction with the Dearborn Heights Police Department, are offering the reward for information directly leading to the arrest of Saad, who is the main suspect in the April 16 murder case of his 64-year-old mother in Dearborn Heights.
Saad, 32, has a history of mental illness and is considered armed and extremely dangerous. The U.S. Marshals elevated him to major case status early today.
Saad is believed to be driving a Silver 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee, bearing a Michigan license plate: DYV 2064. He has fled from the Dearborn Heights area and is believed to be traveling through Ohio, possibly Dayton area.
“The United States Marshals Service stands with the Dearborn Heights Police Department and will commit all resources to apprehend this fugitive, as we believe he poses a significant threat to public safety,” said Mark Jankowksi, Acting U.S. Marshal for the Eastern District of Michigan.
Authorities ask those that have information on the whereabouts of Mohamed Ali Saad to contact the U.S. Marshals Service at (313) 234-5656, Crime Stoppers at (800) Speak-Up, or submit a tip using USMS Tips.
