The Lebanese Collegiate Network (LCN) was established in response to an overwhelming need to foster positive relationships between existing University Lebanese Clubs (ULC) and their student members. The LCN board invites all ULCs to join and benefit from this organization by visiting the official LCN website at www.lebanesecollegiatenetwork.org.
The foremost purpose of LCN, per constitution, is to foster, connect and develop Lebanese collegiate clubs, students and alumni within the United States. The LCN is a non-political organization created for the benefit of University Lebanese Clubs and their students by encouraging and promoting their academic and professional growth. The strength of the LCN lies within the commitment of members to promoting and engaging this organization on a national level.
Students who are subscribing members (recognized by a ULC of the LCN) will qualify for several LCN opportunities. As described further on the LCN website, the LCN student exchange program, the LCN academic excellence scholarship and the Outstanding ULC award are great rewards for the LCN Membership. For Membership inquiries, please contact the VP of Membership Sevag Sislian at ssislian@lebanesecollegiatenetwork.org.
The LCN Board knows that without generous donations and support from the Lebanese academic and professional community nothing would be possible. Please help support the LCN financially by mailing in your donations or using our website. Your generosity will fund a $10,000 operating budget which directly benefits the students. The LCN is currently pursuing IRS tax-exempt status. Once a Tax ID number has been secured, it will be submitted to you for your use. If you have any questions, please contact the LCN Treasurer Serge Haddad at shaddad@lebanesecollegiatenetwork.org.
The Lebanese Collegiate Network invites the Lebanese Community to attend the 2008 LCN Annual Conference on March 28-30 2008 at the University of Maryland. Hotel reservations can be made at the local Comfort Inn. The 2008 LCN Conference aims to develop University Lebanese Club students professionally and academically. More information regarding this event can be found on the LCN website. All conference related questions will be fielded by the Vice President of Events Julien Chemali at jchemali@lebanesecollegiatenetwork.org.
For all questions or for more information, please contact the LCN President Patrick Sislian at psislian@lebanesecollegiatenetwork.org.
