DEARBORN — The Dearborn Board of Education began the new year with a brief organizational meeting prior to the start of their January 14 regular Board meeting. The Board selected new officers to serve for the 2008 year. Veteran Board member Sharon Dulmage was selected to be president as Pam Adams steps down and resumes her role as a trustee. Joe Guido was named vice president, Aimee Blackburn, secretary, and Darrell Donelson, treasurer. Board members serve in their officer position for one year but are elected to serve on the Board itself for a four year period.
Current board members are Sharon Dulmage, whose term expires 12-31-08; Joseph Guido, whose term expires 12-31-11; Aimee Blackburn, whose term expires 12-31-08; Darrell Donelson,, whose term expires 12-31-09; Pamela Adams, whose term expires 12-31-09; Mary Petlichkoff, whose term expires 12-31-11; and James Schoolmaster, whose term expires 12-31-10. In addition to the selection of officers, two board members, Joe Guido and Mary Petlichkoff, took the Oath of Office. Both trustees were successful in the November school board election. Mr. Guido returns for his fifteenth year on the board while Ms. Petlichkoff begins her first term as a newly elected board member.
