DEARBORN — Police have identified two alleged co-conspirators in an investigation of a traffic ticket-fixing scheme that previously resulted in the arrest of a police officer and an Arab American resident.

The felonies carry a potential sentence of five years in prison and a $10,000 fine.

Officer Alex Brian Ramirez, who was suspended without pay after being charged for his alleged part in the scheme, and Hassan Hojaije, a civilian who allegedly contacted recipients of traffic tickets on behalf of Ramirez to solicit bribes, were released on bond after their arrests last month.
Nimer has also been released on bond.
