DEARBORN  — The movie company Mandalay Productions was in Dearborn from Monday, May 3 to Wednesday, May 5 filming scenes from the movie “Salvation Boulevard” starring former James Bond title character actor Pierce Brosnan as well as Ed Harris.Brosnan stopped at Habib’s Restaurant on Michigan Avenue during a break in the filming to have dinner with his group. While there, he posed with chef Habib Bazzi and his kitchen crew for a photo. Mr. Brosnan had asked his driver to take him to an Arabic restaurant.“We’re happy to have Mandalay Productions in Dearborn and thrilled that they’ll be shooting in our facility,” said city Recreation Director Greg Orner.“This is going to be an economic benefit to our entire city, since the cast and crew will be in town for nearly a month utilizing our local businesses,” Orner said.
