ROCHESTER — The fourth annual LebFest Lebanese festival is expected to take place in downtown Rochester at River Square, Friday, Aug. 6, 5-11 p.m., Saturday Aug. 7, 11 a.m. -11 p.m. and Sunday Aug. 8, 12 p.m.-12 a.m. The festival is being presented by the Lebanese American Chamber of Commerce and admission is free. Festival attractions include amusement rides for children, family activities, exhibit by cigar retailer La Casa De La Habana, Lebanese cuisine, art and live performances by pop artist Sabrina Shaheen who will sing the U.S. national anthem, Usama Baalbaki, Amalia Kaddo, Jad Soudah and Laith Alattarall. The late Zaki Nassif, pioneer for spreading Lebanese folk music around the world, will be honored once again at the festival through a tribute.
