The Michigan Wolverines soccer team won their third-round game against South Carolina on Nov. 28 by a final score of 3-1 to move on to the Elite 8 of the NCAA Tournament.

Michigan was led by Arab American stars Justin Meram and Soony Saad in the win; Meram of Shelby Twp. scored two goals and Saad of Dearborn added another along with an assist on Meram’s first goal, which put the Wolverines up 1-0 at 63:52 of the second half.

Michigan will play #2 seed Maryland in College Park, Md on Saturday, Dec. 4 at 1 pm. ET. The game can be seen on the Internet at NCAA.com/allaccess.
