DEARBORN — Greenfield Manor in Dearborn is expected to host a fundraising dinner on Jan. 22 featuring former British Member of Parliament and Palestine activist George Galloway from 6-10 p.m, entitled “Sail to Break the Siege on Gaza.”

The event will also feature Shadia Mansour, a British-born Palestinian singer and hip-hop artist whose music focuses on Middle Eastern politics, along with fellow musical act Sound of Reason.

Half of the proceeds from the event will go to U.S. to Gaza for a boat as part of another flotilla and the other half will go to Galloway’s Viva Palestina organization which helps provide aid.
