The last day to apply for the Islamic Society of North America’s 2011 nonprofit management fellowship is Feb. 1. Muslim graduate students are encouraged to apply. The fellowship allows students to receive education and training in nonprofit management and philanthropy, and includes an internship with ISNA. Every year, 10 students are selected to receive the HRH Prince Alwaleed BIN Talal ISNA Fellowship. ISNA is one of the largest Muslim organization in the U.S. The fellowship also offers financial support for education. Last year’s recipients included students from Harvard, Indiana University, University of California Berkley, Duke, University of Georgia, Johns Hopkins, The Center on Philanthropy at IUPUI, and others. To qualify you must be a Muslim graduate student pursuing a full-time degree in non-profit management, philanthropy, or other related fields at an academic institution. Applicants enrolled at Indiana University programs in non-profit studies or philanthropy are preferred. You must be a U.S. citizen to apply.
