SOUTHFIELD — Members of the Chaldean Chamber of Commerce will visit Lansing to celebrate Chaldean American Day on Thursday, May 26 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Legislators will be treated to a Chaldean lunch in the Capital Building. Members will meet with policy makers, and discuss issues concerning the Chaldean community and its business owners. The event is an opportunity for the Chamber to promote Chaldean culture and draw attention to the contributions Chaldeans have made to the state. Last year legislators were treated to a Mediterranean lunch in the speaker’s office.
