DEARBORN — A Palestinian American woman has been selected for induction into the 2011 Michigan Women’s Hall of Fame. Jumana Judeh is the president and CEO of Judeh and Associates based in Dearborn. Additionally, she mentors and is an advocate for Arab American businesswomen. She launched the Arab American Women’s Business Council (AAWBC) in 2007.
The AAWBC brings Arab American women of various professions together for the purpose of building business and professional growth through networking, leadership and educational opportunities and cultural programming. Judah is one of the eight notable Michigan women selected. In April she became a Certified Commercial Investment Member after successfully completing a CCIM examination in Washington D.C.
The induction ceremony and dinner is at the Kellogg Hotel and Conference Center on Oct. 27. The reception will start at 5 p.m. following dinner at 6 p.m. and a ceremony at 7 p.m. The cost of attending is $125 a person. For more information call 517.484.1880, extension 203.
