DEARBORN – The Dearborn Community Center hosted its second annual iftar at Dearborn Masjid Al-Salam on Wednesday, located at 3900 Schaefer Road. Among those in attendance were U.S. Rep. John Conyers (D-Detroit), Wayne County Sheriff Benny Napoleon, judges Mark Somers and Richard Wygonik, Police Chief Ron Haddad and member of the board Said Masgari, who welcomed the guests. The masjid offers Arabic language services as well as Islamic classes and workshops.
