DETROIT — Canton Attorney Nabih Ayad received a special recognition award from the Lakeshore Economic Coalition at their annual awards ceremony late last month. The Lakeshore Economic Coalition is the non-profit arm of Lakeshore Engineering Services in Detroit and the ceremony was held to honor 12 outstanding metro Detroiters who embody the spirit of Lakeshore through helping others. 

LEC offers programs such as its annual Thanksgiving food give-away, health programs for seniors, summer youth camps, adopt-a-park programs and more. 

Ayad specializes in the field of immigration and has worked to prevent several families from being broken up due to a system that many analysts believe is in need of a major overhaul.
