DETROIT – Two reality TV show personalities from the TLC show “All-American Muslim” were detained at the Ambassador Bridge on New Year’s Day after they were allegedly caught with marijuana in the trunk while trying to cross into the U.S. from Windsor.

According to local reports, the unidentified cast members had 9 grams of marijuana with them during the incident. One also reportedly had a medical marijuana card with them, although only state laws recognize the card but federal laws do not. 

The cast members reportedly had to pay a fine of 500 dollars for their failure to declare the bag of weed, which is about enough to roll 10 joints.

The amount of weed found makes it a civil offense meaning that prosecution is highly unlikely.
