DEARBORN— On Friday Dec. 7 at approximately 1 a.m. Dearborn officers responded to the All Wireless cell phone store located on the city’s east side on report of a burglary in progress. Officers arrived and found the front door glass broken and a glass display case inside the store damaged. The suspects were no longer at the store. Responding officers viewed the store’s video surveillance which provided a physical and clothing description of the perpetrator. The video also revealed a number of cell phones were stolen.

Two Dearborn suspects, seventeen year old Mohamad Raychouni and seventeen year old Ali Bazzi, were located by police just west of the location with the stolen phones in their possession. Both suspects were arrested. The Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office approved complaints against Raychouni for Breaking and Entering-A Building With Intent (10 year felony) and Stolen Property-Receiving and Concealing (5 year felony). A complaint of Stolen Property-Receiving and Concealing (5 year felony) was approved for Bazzi. Both suspects were arraigned on Dec. 9.
Both suspects have a preliminary exam at the 19th District Court on Dec. 21. Chief Haddad said, “Solving of this case is a direct result of community involvement. A passerby observed this incident in progress and immediately notified the police.”
