DETROIT – According to a recent poll of Detroiters, the top two candidates taking the lead in the race for mayor are Wayne County Sheriff Benny Napoleon and the former CEO of the Detroit Medical Center Mike Duggan. The poll was conducted by the Washington D.C. political research firm among 600 likely voters from Jan. 8-12. It showed that they received an overwhelming majority of the votes, making it a likely two-man race.
