An Ingham County judge this week refused to strike down a lawsuit against the state’s new Right-to-Work laws, that claims the laws should be struck down because the open meetings act was violated when hey were created because people were locked outside the Capitol for hours while the measure was debated.
Circuit Judge William Collette says plaintiffs in the case should be allowed to collect evidence. Judge Collette heard arguments from the American Civil Liberties Union of Michigan prior to making his ruling.
