DEARBORN HEIGHTS – The Crestwood School District announced that it will offer a free preschool program this fall for four-year-old children who are at risk of educational failure.
The District will be receiving funding for the pre-school from a state program called the Great Start Readiness Program. Children are qualified based on a number of circumstances, but family income is the top factor
The program will accept 32 children, while other eligible children will be placed on a waitlist. District officials have been conducting interviews through June with parents or guardians to determine if their child qualifies for the program.
