DEARBORN — On Monday, July 8, the Lebanese American Heritage Club (LAHC) distributed food items to low income senior citizens. The program, known as “Feeding Our Neighbors, Supporting our Families,” serves community members that are in need of additional assistance, due to limited budgets. Over 100 bags, filled with nutritional food supplies, were distributed to seniors in need.
“By feeding our elderly neighbors and ensuring their health is maintained and well, we feel a sense of pride in knowing that we have gone above and beyond to serve as a voice of hope, and we have extended a hand in friendship for those who may not have that blessing each day,” said Wassim Mahfouz, Executive Director of the LAHC.
