LANSING — State Representative George T. Darany (D-Dearborn) submitted House Resolution 191 to offer best wishes to Muslims in Michigan, and across the world, on the joyous and meaningful observance of Ramadan.

The resolution was adopted by the Michigan House of Representatives and recognizes the month in which Muslims engage in a tradition of reflection, fasting and prayer. 

“As our Muslim friends and neighbors use this time for reflection, sacrifice and a celebration of their faith, I am pleased to join with my colleagues in the Michigan House of Representatives in offering our best wishes,” Darany said.  “It was truly an honor to recognize the observance of Ramadan with this resolution.”
