MILFORD — Khodar Farhat, a blind Lebanese American, is participating in the VisionWalk Michigan team’s One Spirit One Dream on Saturday, May 9 and encouraging others to join the effort. 

 “The goal of this walk is to collect money that will be used to fund the research on the blind and hospitals who treat people who are visually impaired,” Farhat said. “I want to help spread the word. We need participants, donations and motivation.” 

The event benefits the Foundation Fighting Blindness that helps save and restore sight to the 10 million Americans living in darkness.
