DEARBORN—Dearborn
Police responded to the 24000 Block of Dartmouth on a report of a home invasion
with multiple shots fired in the home.
No one was injured during the incident.
With the aide of residents nearby, officers were able to quickly
identify the suspects in this case.
The
suspects were arrested by the Dearborn Police with the assistance of the
Redford Police Department after a short vehicle and foot pursuit that same
day. Multiple search warrants were
executed related to the incident. A semi-automatic rifle was used in the crime.
The
suspects, Tyler Hood, 25 of Livonia and Jeremy Wilson, 36 of Redford were both
charged in this incident by the Wayne County Prosecutors Office. They face multiple felony counts of Home
Invasion 1st Degree, Felony Discharge of a Firearm at or in a
Building, Felony Firearm, Felon in Possession of a Firearm and Habitual
Offender Notices.
They were arraigned in
front of Judge Mark Somers who set bond at $500,000 cash each. They were scheduled
for their next court date on June 19.
