DETROIT – The Greater Detroit Area Health Council (GDAHC) Board of Directors and its membership approved the nomination of an ACCESS leader to its board at its annual meeting June 12.
Mona Makki, deputy director of the ACCESS Community Health and Research Center (CHRC), was appointed to the board along with four other executives from the health care, corporate and non-profit sectors.
“The nominations approved at the GDAHC 2015 annual meeting reflect the reach of our organization deep into the health care as well as the corporate and non-profit sectors,” said Kate Kohn-Parrott, GDAHC president and CEO. “Their individual perspectives, insights and experiences will be a valuable addition to the current board member roster.”
The GDAHC is southeast Michigan’s premier health care collaborative. It has served as a health care leader for more than 70 years and represents everyone who gets care, gives care and pays for care.
