The Art of Giving – The Seven Mile Development Initiative
The Arab American and Chaldean Council’s 29th Annual Civic & Humanitarian Awards Gala was held on September 13, 2008 at the Renaissance Center in downtown Detroit to celebrate the power of human creativity and generosity. Guests were especially proud of ACC’s Seven Mile Development Initiative.
Keynote speaker, Dr. Richard Florida founder of the Creative Class Group, accepts a gift of gratitude from ACC President and CEO, Dr. Haifa Fakhouri.
ACC’s Signature Sponsor Ford Motor Company Fund was represented by Pamela Alexander, Director of Community Development and Fund Operations.
Detroit Economic Club President and CEO Beth Chappell served as the evenings emcee.
