Ann Arbor — Ann Arbor is the first city in Michigan to go on record opposing Arizona SB 1070 that is supposed to prevent illegal immigration.  On July 6. the Ann Arbor City Council proposed a 9-1 resolution that attacks the bill which is expected to take effect July 29.
