WASHINGTON – The American Arab Chamber of Commerce led a group of Arab American business owners to the nation’s capital on Wednesday, July 27 to discuss economic development and investment opportunities in the Middle East and North Africa.
The delegation was led by Executive Director Fay Beydoun and Chairman Ahmad Chebbani. The group was hosted by the White House Office of Public Engagement with the meeting featuring officials from the White House, the U.S. Agency for International Development and the U.S. Small Business Administration who will provide participants with guidance on federal resources to move their projects forward.
The chamber also hosted a similar meeting in May as a group of 40 Arab American business leaders met with eight government agencies to discuss the federal resources and programs available to businesses would like to invest in the region.
