The celebration of Miss Lebanon Emigrants dates originally to the 1950s in Dhour Shweir, Lebanon with the hope of reconnecting and strengthening Lebanese emigrants to their roots by uniting them through the universal language of beauty and their shared ancestry. The winner of “Miss Lebanon Emigrants USA” will be expected to connect with the American Lebanese community while acting as an ambassador between the United States and Lebanon. Miss Lebanon Emigrants USA winners also must have the ambition to make positive changes within the Lebanese community and participate in charity events all over the United States.
In attendance will be the Lebanese Minister of Tourism as well as the Lebanese Ambassador to the United States and other high ranking officials. Miss Lebanon Emigrants beauty pageants are being held worldwide, and the winner will compete with other young women from 35 countries on August 11, 2012 at Castle Assouf in Dhour Shweir. The winner among American contestants will travel to Lebanon in order to compete for the world title.
