DEARBORN — On Wednesday, Feb. 6 from 6:30-8:30 p.m., the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan will host a forum on the importance of Jury Service, titled “Why Diversity Matters and the Importance of Jury Service.”
The conversation will focus on the importance of ethnically and racially diverse juries in the criminal justice system and the importance of jury service. The event will be held at the Lebanese American Heritage Club (4337 Maple Street) in Dearborn and will host speakers: Osama Siblani, publisher of The Arab American News, Chief Judge Gerald E. Rosen, Judge Denise Page Hood, Judge Victoria A. Roberts, Chief Federal Defender Miriam Siefer and US Attorney Barbara McQuade.
