DETROIT— Wayne County Executive Robert Ficano announced the appointment of Dr Curtis Ivery and Mark Gaffney to the Regional Transit Authority (RTA). Ivery, of Detroit, currently serves as Chancellor of the Wayne County Community College District. As Chief Executive Officer, he directs five campuses, which serve more than 72,000 students annually.  Gaffney, of Dearborn, is currently employed by Teamsters Local Union number 214, the largest Teamsters Local in Michigan.
