DEARBORN— Three award winning and best selling authors, poets and artists are expected to visit the Arab American National Museum Friday, April 5 and Saturday April 6 for the event DIWAN5, A Forum for the Arts.  PEN award winning Libyan American poet Khaled Mattawa, Palestinian American best selling author Susan Abulhawa and Palestinian American poet, actor, activist Suheir Hammad are among those scheduled to appear. 

In addition to presentations and panel discussions, DIWAN5 includes live performances, a fashion show, an after-party and DIWAN5: The Exhibition – a group show featuring 12 Arab American artists. Complete schedule and online registration can be found by visiting www.diwanart.org; walk-ups welcome.
