DETROIT — The case involving two women, who were found severely assaulted in local fields, is still being investigated by the Detroit Police Department. To date, no arrests have been made in either case.
In the first incident, a 37-year-old woman was found physically assaulted, with burn marks on her body, in a field on Eaton Street, on July 26. She is now in stabile condition.
The second case occurred on July 27, when another woman, between her twenties and thirties, was found without any clothes on in a field near Elmira and Iris. The woman was unconscious at the time she was found and has also been physically assaulted. She is in critical condition and could have also been sexually assaulted.
