DEARBORN — Dearborn’s newest Islamic school, Great Revelations Academy, held a grand opening dinner and ribbon cutting ceremony with hundreds in attendance on Saturday, May 16.  

“In our complex and morally ambiguous time, it is crucial for a community to provide its youth with an education that nourishes their moral development and answers the challenges of today,” Sayed Ali Fadlallah said. 

GRA is an independent K- ninth grade Islamic school scheduled to open this fall. Arabic and Islamic studies will be integrated into the new school’s curriculum.

Among its many features, GRA includes a banquet hall anticipated to be the largest in the Dearborn area. The school will be fully equipped to accommodate Pre-K through 12th grade with a high-tech science lab, full court gym and large classrooms.
